A youth pastor once told me
You don’t need to search for a girl or run after a girl. That’s not how you find her. All you gotta do is aim for God and start running. Soon, you’ll notice someone else running beside you, maybe even faster than you. That’s who you’ll want to go for.
One of the wisest things I’ve ever heard. This applies for girls too.

i find it sad that i’d rather reach for my phone/macbook than a good book. i used to love books so much. so so much. i feel like everyone used to.
i remember hiding underneath my covers with a flashlight and a good novel, getting freaked out every time i heard my parents footsteps coming near my room. now i do that with my phone -_-
